Alice is the girl Yuri was instructed by a mysterious voice to protect. She holds a very powerful energy that many would seek to gain for their own purposes. Dhlhui sought after this girl to use as a sort of key to the Valorization; the summoning of a great and powerful beast: the Seraphic Radiance.

Through the course of SH1, Alice and Yuri grow closer together... but in the end, Yuri is unable to protect Alice from the god of Death with whom Alice made a pact with: to sacrifice her own life to save Yuri's when he was swallowed in darkness by the Seraphic Radiance.

It's extremely emotional whenever Alice is mentioned in SH2, especially in a few FMVs. I totally cried, too... I like Alice better than Kallen...

Kurando is the son of Inugami Saki, who is the sister of Jinpachiro Hyuga. Thus, he is able to use the art of fusion as well but can only fuse with one demon unless you do his side quest to gain another form. He does kinda look like Yuri sometimes...

Nicolai is a member of the Vatican who was trying to find Albert Simon to do away with his evil herecy, but by the time Nicolai found him, he was already dead. Now he's searching to find the one who killed Albert Simon.

Nicolai is also an exorcist. He visited a church in Domremy, where Kallen's troops incountered a demon, in order to exorsize the beast. He was granted the use of the mysterious Mistletoe, a dangerous holy artifact.

Of course we all know that the demon in Domremy is in fact Yuri... Nicolai curses Yuri with the Mistletoe and he loses all of his Fusion powers up until that point. (Clever way to start the Fusion system from scratch again, eh?)

Even though Nicolai is of the holy cloth, this guy is seriously evil! Strike that, he's a total bastard and yet he's also a poor victim in turn of events.
